About the event
Just 2 hours and 18 minutes from Peterborough along the A1 is the quaint little market town of Knaresborough. The exact origins of this market town of ancient walkways, cobbled alleys, and secret passageways are shrouded in mystery. But one thing's for sure: Knaresborough has carved out a real character for itself with a Tudor prophetess, a once royal castle, a magnificent viaduct, and breathtaking countryside views.
The second part of the break is a visit to a wonderful natural attraction, of Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. A 4.5-mile circular walk that has beautiful views and scenery around every turn. The six waterfalls on the route are stunning.
Due to the terrain, the falls would be inaccessible for disabled visitors. Be aware that suitable footwear is a must.
Entrance to the falls costs £8 per adult.
Accommodation and dates to be arranged.
Choice of Static Caravan, hotels, or B&B.
